Preschoolers and their families are important to us at Higher Ground. First time visitors will need to report to the Nursery Desk in the Nursery area to complete an information card. Once you have completed the information card a nursery volunteer will show you to your child's classroom. You will sign your child in on a number and take the lanyard with the coordinating number. Next you will fill out a name tag for your child to be placed on them. If you are needed during the service, your child’s number will be displayed on the monitors located above the front exit signs in the Worship Center.
We cordially invite you to visit with us!!!

Before you bring your child to the Nursery…
Nursery Policies & Procedures
We encourage parents of nursery age children to volunteer by serving on a team rotation once every 5 weeks, once your preschooler begins attending regularly. We value our volunteers and welcome you to our ministry! In accordance with the child protection policy, all parents & volunteers will be screened & your personal references are checked.
This ministry is provided during morning worship for 3 & 4 year olds in the nursery. We participate in worship, story, activities & of course snack time. We would love to have your child join us for a great time of WORSHIP - preschool style!
Nursery Teams provide child care for infants - 4 year olds during Sunday a.m. & p.m. Worship Services.
All Nursery volunteers should report to the Nursery Desk at 8:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m., or 5:45 p.m. for their scheduled
day to serve. You will receive a reminder card & a text prior to your team’s scheduled rotation. If you cannot make your rotation,
please contact church office at (423) 245-3141.
The nursery begins accepting children 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the service or Sunday School.
Sunday mornings 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. — 7:45 p.m.
